My sister is a freshman in college and wants to establish credit history. She looked at different secured cards. She filled an application, provided all her personal information, including social security number. She was not approved however. Since then her mailbox has been filled with emails from a "Better Tomorrow", claiming that she's approved, has money waiting for her, etc.
The problem is, she does not remember what bank it was. All she remembers that it seemed to be a well known bank, such as Wells Fargo or Capital One. Does anyone has experience with "Better Tomorrow"? Is this a scam and identity thief?
