The ad features a real-life New York City couple, hanging out on a brownstone stoop. The accompanying copy, which may or may not have given us a lump in our throat, reads:
"Will you promise to never stop completing my sentences or singing off-key, which I'm afraid you do often? And will you let today be the first sentence of one long story that never, ever ends?"
Tiffany & Co. is the latest brand to embrace same-sex couples in its ads. In 2011, future Madewell designer Somsack Sikhounmuong and his boyfriend were featured in a J.Crew catalog. Last year, Nate Berkus and then-fiancé Jeremiah Brent starred in a Banana Republic campaign.
