Mel Gibson was booked and released at El Segundo Police Department on Wednesday night as part of his sentence for the misdemeanor battery case resulting from an alleged January 2010 incident with his then-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Gibson was photographed and fingerprinted at the El Segundo Police Department on Wednesday night. He arrived at the station at 9:30 p.m. and was released an hour later.

Gibson's booking record lists him as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds, according to the report.
