Indian American actor-model Padma Lakshmi's boyfriend Teddy Forstmann, who died of cancer in November, has left an estimated USD 1.8 billion for her daughter.
Lakshmi, 41, and the 71-year-old were dating for several years, and they were even together when the Top Chef host gave birth to her daughter Krishna, reported Hollywood Life.
Although, Forstmann is not the father of the two-year-old he is said to have carried out the role of a father since Krishna was born.
The father of the baby girl is venture capitalist Adam Dell, the brother of Dell Computers founder Michael. Lakshmi dated him for a while before meeting Forstmann.

In January 2011, Adam filed a lawsuit seeking full custody of his daughter and to have his name added to her birth certificate. But according to court papers, Lakshmi revealed she hoped tests would show Forstmann was the biological dad.Lakshmi was earlier married to novelist Salman Rushdie for four years.
