Jodi Arias guilty of first-degree murder

A jury in Phoenix found Jodi Arias guilty of first degree murder after three days of deliberations in a sensational trial.

Jurors received the case on Friday and reportedly reached a verdict early Wednesday.

The panel had a choice between first degree murder, second degree murder, manslaughter and not guilty.

Jodi is accused of murdering ex boyfriend Travis Alexander in June 2008. She admitted to stabbing him 27 times and shooting him in the face, but claims it was done in self-defense.

If convicted of first degree murder, Arias could face the death penalty.
