Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs (born April 9, 1963) is an American fashion designer. He is the head designer for Marc Jacobs, as well as Marc by Marc Jacobs, a diffusion line, with over 200 retail stores in 80 countries.

• He was the creative director of the French design house Louis Vuitton from 1997 to 2013.
• Jacob Marc replaced Galliano as creative director of Christian Dior. Galliano was ousted after he was caught on camera spewing anti-Semitic hokum at a French restaurant.
• Christian Dior is the famous French fashion designer who dressed the wives of Nazis in France, during WW2.
• Marc Jacobs is a Jewish boy from Jersey

Marc Jacobs and his husband Lorenzo Martone, are reported to have broken up. Lorenzo is an advertising executive from Brazil. The two got married in July of 2009 after a year of dating.
